Reservoir flood maps

Following the Pitt Review (2007) the government has now produced flood maps for all large raised reservoirs (25,000 cubic metres and above) to enable effective emergency planning.

This planning is being undertaken at a Greater Manchester level to ensure consistency as the implications of a reservoir flood are likely to affect more than one local authority area.
