Navigating to content

Our website follows a national standard for council website navigation, the Local Government Navigation List.

Navigation

The main navigation bar allows you to browse your way through the pages on the site. The area you are currently browsing always appears at the top of the navigation list. The navigation is based on how users search for information and is aimed at providing a simple way for users to find information on a local authority website.

A-Z listings

The A-Z listing is always available in the links bar at the top of every page. Click  the A-Z' link then use the listings to find the information you want. If the content you are looking for is not in the A-Z try the Search facility available on every page of the website.

Sitemap

The sitemap, again available from the links bar at the top of every page, shows the full layout of the site. The sitemap is very large due to the number of pages on the site so you may find it more convenient to use one of the above methods of looking for information.
