Food Service Plan 2009-2010

The Food Service Plan 2009/2010 supports the proactive approach of the Council’s aims, priorities and continuous improvement programme as defined in the mission statement defining Rochdale Council’s purpose.

The work of the Food Service as a whole strongly contributes towards the council’s aim “to create the best quality of life for all local people by providing quality services that matter to them” (Stepping Up, 2007). Their activities are aimed at reducing ill health, in the form of food poisoning, and enabling consumers to have confidence in the quality of the food they buy.
