Environmental policy
We acknowledge and recognise that our operations have an impact
on the local and global environment.
In order to improve our impact on the environment we
have identified ways to reduce our negative environmental
impacts and have developed an environmental policy which identifies
how we can manage and improve our environmental performance.
The policy confirms that we:
- Will implement an environmental management system to manage our
environmental impacts.
- Comply with all environmental legislation.
- Prevent pollution from out operations and activities.
- Commit to improve our environmental performance.
We will regularly review and update our environmental policy to
reflect the council's significant environmental effects and to aid
our implementation of our Environmental Management System.
