Customer service standards
Rochdale Borough Council was one of the first local authorities
in the country to set up Customer Service Centres (one-stop-shops)
providing access to a wide range of information and help with
council services.
We are very proud to have achieved the prestigious award,
Charter Mark, in recognition of the high standard of customer
service we offer.

Staff at our Customer Service Centres can help you with
enquiries about a wide range of council and other related services.
Most queries can be handled without the need to refer you
to another person or office.
Here are some of the enquiries we can help you with:
- Housing (including repairs or enquiries about getting a
council property)
- Council tax and housing benefits
- Leisure facilities
- Waste, bins and recycling
- Street lights and roadworks
- Child care
- Jobs at the Council
Also, if you have problems with social security benefits, your
landlord or have debt issues, you can book an appointment to
see an advisor by calling in.
If you think we can help you, come and see us. Our
quieter times are between 9am and 11am and after 3.30 pm.
Monday is our busiest day.
