About township committees
Pennines Township

Heywood township

Our township committees are an integral part of the Council's decision-making process.

The four township committees each comprise the Members of the wards that fall within the boundaries of each township. The township committees meet six times per year, at venues within their area. Each township committee meeting commences with an open forum session, which gives local residents the opportunity to ask questions of their local Members or to raise issues of local concern.
