A book of condolence has been opened at Middleton Arena and is also available on the council’s website to allow the borough to pay their respects to Drummer Lee Rigby.
The report follows an independent review of the council’s internal processes and procedures. It was commissioned by the Council’s incoming chief executive, Jim Taylor, following the conviction of 9 men from Rochdale and Oldham for grooming offences.

Seven new dashes of colour will be added to Rochdale town centre next month with the installation of a series of blue plaques.
