Trafalgar Street-The Pass, Rochdale
Borough of Rochdale (Trafalgar Street/The Pass, Rochdale)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2008
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend,
in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which
will be to temporarily prohibit traffic proceeding along:-
(i) Trafalgar Street, Rochdale from a point 17
metres north of its junction with Ramsay Street for a distance of
55 metres in a northerly direction;
(ii) The Pass from a point from a point 17 metres
north of its junction with Ramsay Street for a distance of 55
metres in a northerly direction.
The Order is required to facilitate the safe construction of 25
houses.
The Order will be operative from 8am on 13 October 2008 until
6pm on 27 February 2009 or until the build is completed whichever
is the sooner.
(i) The alternative route for traffic for Trafalgar Street is
via Trafalgar Street, Ramsay Street, Buckingham Street, South
Street and vice-versa
(i) The alternative route for pedestrians for The Pass is via
The Pass, Ramsay Street, Wellington Place, footpaths through the
Community Centre Grounds and vice versa
Plans showing the length of highway affected may be inspected at
the Borough Solicitor’s Office, Town Hall, Rochdale and the
Customer Services Centre, Municipal Offices, Smith Street, Rochdale
during normal office hours.
