Borough of Rochdale (Mellor Street, Rochdale) (Temporary One
Way Working Order) Order 2008
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend,
in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which
will be to temporary prohibit vehicles proceeding along Mellor
Street, Rochdale in a south easterly direction from a point 65
metres north west of is junction with Dane Street to its junction
with Dane Street.
The Order is required to facilitate safe reconstruction of the
parapets on the bridge over the River Roch.
The Order will be operative from 12.01am on Monday 13 October
2008 until 12 midnight on Friday 17 October 2008 or until the work
is completed whichever is the sooner.
The alternative route for vehicles is via Mellor Street, College
Road, St. Mary’s Gate, Dane Street.
Plans showing the length of highways affected may be inspected
at the Borough Solicitor’s Office, Town Hall, Rochdale and the
Customer Services Centre, Municipal Offices, Smith Street, Rochdale
during normal office hours.
