Schools forum
The Rochdale Schools Forum is a statutory body established under
the Schools Forum regulations 2002. The forum exists to
consider issues primarily involving school funding and is mainly a
consultative body, but with certain specific powers which have been
delegated to the Forum from the Secretary of State. The Forum works
in partnership with the local authority in considering a strategic
view of school funding and provides unambiguous professional advice
and strategic direction to education decision-makers regarding the
funding of schools.
