Rochdale Borough Transport Strategy Consultation Draft
This consultation has
now finished.
The document aims to set out for the first time the borough's
transport aims, priorities and aspirations in the future (to 2026
consistent with the time period covered by the emerging Local
Development Framework).
The Strategy includes a vision, objectives and action plan and
it will be used as a lobbying document to secure funding. It is
intended that the proposals will be pursued as part of future
programmes and become committed schemes, although some have been
identified only for further investigation. The strategy and action
plan will be periodically updated to reflect changing priorities
and financial and economic conditions.
