Council budgets
As a result of the Finance Settlement Rochdale Borough Council’s
budgets have been reduced to reflect the resources available to the
council. Consultation on the Council’s Budget has been undertaken
with residents as part of our budget setting process and we are
taking this feedback into account as part of our budget setting
process.
In February / March each year we set the Revenue and Capital
Budget for the Council and the level of Council Tax for the
following financial year, we also estimate the provisional budgets
for a further 2 years. The Service and Budget Plan provides
details of the Revenue and Capital Budgets for each service
together with summary information relating to the Council’s overall
position.
