Adult Care Blueprint

The Adult Care Blueprint aims to show at a high level what kind of services we will be providing and at what point, how they will be provided, who will be involved and most importantly, what outcomes we will achieve by designing them this way.

This Blueprint is both a visionary document as well as a realistic articulation of what we know and believe to be possible with the resources available to us. Therefore it represents a clear vision of how we see the Adult Care and Support service operating in 3 years time.

Rochdale Adult Care Service, including Supporting People, has an annual gross budget of over £90m. This Blueprint will explain our performance and what we have delivered for this level of investment. It will also look at the current context that Local Authorities are operating in and what we are therefore planning to focus on with reduced resources.

This Blueprint will not explain in detail everything that we are attempting to do, as there is a large programme of activity underway to develop the detail on this which, along with the principles of the Blueprint, will be subject to consultation with partners, users, carers and staff as well as agreement from Elected Members. However this document is important because it informs staff, members and colleagues in other organisations what we intend to prioritise.
