Rights of way - enforcement
The Footpaths Section holds the records on all definitive public
rights of way throughout the borough.
The Rights of Way Section has a record of all definitive
Bridleways within the borough. It is responsible for maintaining
them to a standard adequate for the passage of walkers. The Council
has also created within the borough the Pennine Bridleway.
