Records and archives - information and advice
Archives are original documents relating to many aspects of
local life, including:
- Business and industrial records
- Family and estate papers
- Trades Union and political records
- The Methodist Archive Deposit
The majority of archives are held in an off site store.
These can be accessed at the Local Studies Centre at Touchstones
Rochdale by prior arrangement.
Heywood and Middleton Libraries hold some archival
documents.
