Smallbridge Library re-opens!
Smallbridge Library re-opened to the public on 28 August 2008.
It had been closed since Christmas 2007 for major refurbishment
work, including the complete replacement of the heating systems and
the floor. We have taken the opportunity to completely redesign the
layout to allow for more activities within the library as well as
more computers for public use. We have also completely revamped the
stock to reflect changing borrowing patterns and support our
traditional readers.
We apologise for any inconvenience that the closure caused and
would like to thank the local community for their continued support
and enthusiastics response to our re-opening.
