Heywood Library
Temporary closure of Heywood Library
Heywood Library is closed due to major refurbishment works and
is due to reopen in the summer of 2008. Some of the stock at
Heywood Library, notably the Best Sellers and Graphic Novels, have
been temporarily transferred to Darnhill Library. We have also
extended the opening hours at Darnhill Library, which is now also
open on Wednesday mornings and Saturday afternoons. Children's
storysacks have been temporarily transferred to Spotland Library.
We have also increased the number of events and activities for very
young children at Spotland Library.
We apologise for any inconvenience and welcome your custom at
any library in the borough. Your barcoded library card lets you
borrow or reserve items from any of our libraries.
