In Rochdale borough, we're making sure that offenders are punished for the harm they've caused by committing crimes in our communities.

The national Community Payback scheme sees offenders carrying out supervised unpaid work in orange high-visibility jackets.

We've arranged for the probation service to carry out the following Community Payback clean-ups.

Did you know?

35,776 hours of community payback work has been carried out for free by offenders across Rochdale borough as a punishment which would have cost £206, 462 and might otherwise not have been done.

Land on Taylor Street in drastic need of a clean-up!   Taylor Street after all litter, rubbish and knot weed has been removed!

Land off Whitworth Road was littered with rubbish!   The overgrowth was cut back and the fly-tipping removed from Whitworth Road

Land off Tintern Road was overgrown and ridden with litter!   Tintern Road had offenders working all week to tidy-up the scrub land!
