Benefits of joining a Home Watch scheme are:

- It improves your awareness of crime and makes you
less likely to become a victim
Help us help you!
We're working with the police, together with over 30 local
agencies to reduce crime in the borough. But we cannot succeed
on our own - we need your support.
Most crime is opportunist, committed on the spur of the moment
or when a car or a house is left unlocked. Home Watch schemes help
to reduce local crimes such as burglary, vandalism, car thefts and
thefts from cars by encouraging neighbours and communities to
look out for one another.
You have the power
Whatever the problem in your neighbourhood, you have the power
to do something about it and when several people act as a group it
becomes much easier.
There is no restriction to the number of houses involved in the
scheme, so get together with your neighbours and make your
community safer.
