Hospice care for children
Children’s Hospices provide care and support
to children with a terminal illness or a life limiting condition.
They also support families. Care and support includes periods of
respite care. Admission is arranged by GP’s, hospital consultants
and other health and social care professionals. Hospice care is
free to all patients. As charities, hospices organise fund raising
activities to pay for the care they provide.
