Mayor's Youth Awards

About the Mayor's Youth Awards

Rochdale Youth Service holds an annual Mayor's Youth Awards event.

It gives us the opportunity to recognise and celebrate the fantastic achievements, contributions and developments of young people across the Rochdale borough.

Closing date

The closing date for 2021 nominations was 12 midnight, Friday, 25 February 2022.

Nominate a young person

We're looking for nominations to recognise young people who've made a real difference to the people in their lives. Whether it's through work in the community, sporting achievement or commitment to their friends and family.

Anyone can nominate a young person who lives in the borough aged 11–19, or up to 25 if they've got a disability.

These awards are in recognition of young people's achievements and contributions towards enhancing the wellbeing of young people and their local communities. This is a great opportunity to recognise those who have helped others through this challenging coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Nominations for the next awards will be announced once the date is finalised.
