In general, what we spend is split into two categories:

Goods, equipment, materials and services: Our Corporate Procurement Service organise purchase arrangements and contracts through The Chest.

Works, civil engineering and minor works contracts: Impact Partnership arrange all works, civil engineering and minor works contracts including painting, plumbing and electrical work. They invite tenders or quotations from time to time.

If you wish to be considered as a potential works contractor, please visit The Impact Partnership website

Cabinet Approved tender schedule 2011-2013

The above spreadsheet shows all scheduled tenders approved by cabinet in September 2011. This will be updated annually but suppliers are advised to register on the Chest to ensure they receive notifications of all contract opportunities. For example, the Chest is also used to send out request for quotes that do not require Cabinet approval.
