Middleton town centre regeneration
THIS CONSULTATION CLOSED DECEMBER 2010
Plans are underway to continue the improvements to Middleton
Town Centre. There are a number of exciting proposals being
developed that will improve the public space of Middleton Gardens
and bring back to life dozens of historic town centre buildings
through a massive restoration project.
With this new investment coming forward, as well as private
sector led opportunities such as the new Aldi store on Kemp Street,
it is the right time to review and update the existing Town Centre
Spatial Masterplan which was produced in 2006. This will be
complemented by a strategy to ensure that the town centre car
parking provision meets present and future needs.
Now we need your feedback!
This is your opportunity to comment on proposals including:
- Middleton Gardens Public Realm Improvements
- Middleton Town Centre Masterplan
- Middleton and Edgar Wood Townscape Heritage Initiative
- Town Centre Parking Strategy
- Conservation Area Management Plan
