Nurses agencies registration
With effect from 1 April 2003, the licensing and enforcement of
nurses' agencies passed from local authorities to the new National
Care Standards Commission (NCSC).
Existing nurses' agencies had their registrations transferred to
the
NCSC
.
New providers of these services are required to register with
the
NCSC
before they can begin their business.
