Do I need to apply for planning
permission?
If you first want to check whether your
proposal requires permission, you can send us details using our
enquiry form.
This form should be emailed with any
drawings or plans attached or posted using the contact details
above. You will be informed whether or not permission is
required within a maximum of fourteen days.

How do I apply for planning permission?
Applying for planning permission
is quite straightforward. The main types of
planning applications are listed in the table headed Most
Popular application types with links to forms, help notes,
checklists and guidance on the information required
to accompany them. All other application forms
(help notes, checklists and guidance) are available to
download in the table headed Other types of applications.
Please ensure you submit your application with the appropriate
information to enable it to be validated (you should refer to the
relevent application checklist.
