Help with funeral costs
If you are on a low income and need financial help to pay for a
funeral you are arranging, you may be able to get a one-off Funeral
Payment from the Social Fund. You might have to repay some or all
of it from the estate of the person who died.
The Council's bereavement service may also be able to offer you
help and advice. Use the contact details in the right hand column
