Home improvements - Renovation grants
Renovation grants are only allocated to properties where there
is imminent danger, such as dangerous electrical/gas installations,
and when all other options such as home loans have been explored.
They are also subject to a means test.
Advice and support
Although we are moving away from traditional grants, we are
looking to support and develop the housing market and can provide
technical advice on any works that may be necessary and assist in
finding a contractor to carry out the repairs. We can also provide
information about home loans and equity release to help in finding
alternative ways of funding any necessary works.
