Renewing your housing benefit
Housing Benefit is generally paid for a maximum of 60 weeks
(five years if the claimant is over 60).
We will issue you with a renewal form approximately eight
weeks before the current benefit period is due to end so we can
assess your eligibility to continue to receive housing
benefit.
