Heywood Township Local Partnerships

There are two Partnerships based around the priorities of Heywood Township which are:

  • Quality of place
  • People and families

Each Partnership looks after a section of the Heywood Township Plan relating to their theme.

Heywood Township are working towards each Partnership having community representatives from all areas and all communities, working with key partners relevant to each theme, to advise Heywood Councillors on priorities and issues for the Heywood community.

The Partnerships report directly to Heywood Township Committee, where any necessary decisions will be taken. 

If you want to be kept informed and engaged in matters affecting your town, contact the Township Office. Register your details with us and receive agendas and minutes in advance of each meeting.

By providing your details, we can keep you updated about future meetings and more importantly, what happens as a direct result of your input.


Heywood Township People and Families Partnership

Purpose: To consider local service delivery relating to the health and well being of people and families in Heywood and make recommendations to Heywood Township Committee.  The Partnership aims to influence local service delivery to improve outcomes for the local community.

Membership: Councillors, partner agencies, community representatives and local people.

Meeting open to public: Yes (although some issues may require a private agenda section)

Heywood Township Quality of Place Partnership

Purpose: To consider and recommend priorities for all local environmental, economic and social regeneration issues to Heywood Township Committee.

Membership: Councillors, partner agencies, community representatives and local people.

Meeting open to the public: Yes
